Too much information
I used the be a fan of
"deep dives" or
"informational videos/graphics" or
"Indie Journalism"
or as the millennials say: "problematic events in society"
Life is problematic .
Life is toxic .
Life is chaotic.
Life is shambolic. ( chaotic but in fancy )
No diss on this type of content.
it simply isn't helpful to me anymore . It fuels my procrastination and adhd to the point of mental decline.
It's ok to change even -If It feels weird.
It's ok to stop consuming content you once enjoyed.
It's ok to unfollow people you admired but you've changed or they've changed .
It's ok to unfriend.
It's okay to not share everything that "needs to be shared immediately "
Silence is sometimes necessary........
Or we will
go
mad
knowing it all.
#deepdive
Muddy caveat:
Let's avoid confusing "silence is violence " on social media "-
-and/or Insinuating complicitness in evil & tragedy.
Posting "silence is violence"
to activate people to "share on social media"
is a form of gaslighting.
The real world is different than social media.
This is a creative & therapeutic outlet- for many.
And -Misinformation is worse than constant 24/7 information.
